This has turned out to be an atypical Sunday, our Lord's Sunday is full of praises for mothers, and sadness of various events. First of all, when we arrived at the church parking lot we saw Huiming Shushu and Yanglin Yiyi was talking to a police sheriff - their Hundai sedan was hit from the back when they was slowing moving to the exit of 8th street - the crazy "run for cure" has resulted in police restrictions of many many intersections, including the one we ususally use for coming to the church, the 15th st. exit of Route 676. That was really bad, knowing that Mom had been late for 40 minutes for her Sunday school duty last week because of similiar traffic restrictions - and this time, before getting to the church, we was stopped at the 30th st station entrance to 676 and had to spent the next 30 minutes on Chestnut st (from 30 to 13). Daddy is an awesome driver since he was able to get around around 13th st when he unexpected met a "NO turns" sign when he was supposed to turn left onth 13th. He ran into an ally that Mom reminded me of many trash bins on the curve - but how does that matter, Daddy was able to get onto 13th st north, that made our delay to a minimum 10 minutes.
Huiming Shushu is going to be fine with the hit-and-run accident, only minor manage to the rear pumper, not a big deal. But the worse news came when we heard that David Shushu (the wonderful Singspiration Leader of CGC!) was involved in a even worse accident last Friday (that is, two days ago) on the highway and his car was totaled - praise God that his family is all fine - we love Tim and Rachael! They are loving sister and brother and they are gentle to our little Jess. We know David was layed off earlier and now only work temporarily at Fox Chase, may our Lord strengthen their family at this hard time. Dear Lord, could you please send them a new car, an used one will do, please!
The special Kid's program later in the afternoon had been awesome, only if Mommy not to urge Daddy to leave before the concert was over - Daddy was waiting for the most "professional" players and singers to come to the stage. But we got to go, Mommy said - she missed her prelim writing - that I know, but how could Daddy miss the best part of the concert and Jess miss the arts work that she was doing with Aunt Zehua? - praise God that we saw Aunty Zehua at the church again today - after such a long time. And you know what, it seems that our Lord has listened to our prayers earlier - she is back - although I guess still not on a regular basis.
PengHui Yiyi and LuoYi Shushu stopped by to send grandma some goodies for Happy Mother's Day (Happy Mother's Daddy, Grandma - you are awesome!). And yes Hui Yiyi and LuoYi Shushu are very nice, not only because of the goodies, but also because of their leadership of the cell group - and Hui Yiyi is teaching in the kid's program at the cell group - she is a wonderful kid's teacher!!! Jess loves PengHui Yiyi, Amen!
Mother's Day became even better with all the goodies, but it didn't stay that way when we were told that Uncle Kacey's wife, the one we were so familiar with in the church but just don't know of her name, was very sick - with a cancer that needs Chemotheraphy! Or, how said that is! Kacey's younger son Diandian is Mommy's sunday school program student and he has been doing a good job, lovely boy!!! And Kacey has also been a very wonderful song leader in the church! God, please show mercy - why all these loved ones are suffering so much from the lives on earth? We all know that you allow everything to happy with your own good will - we are praying for your mercy and grace - may your will be done, my Lord, sthengthen all of us when you put us into difficulty!
Daddy seems to have a long way to study First Peter Chapter 3. It is a pity that Mom missed the sermon becaue of her class duty today, but I know there are lessons that Daddy and Mommy need to learn from our Lord's words - how to build up a Christian family that is pleasing to God.
Good luck Mommy with your prelim paper due tomorrow, when the graduates are stepping into Franklin Field for their commensements - congrats! The academic year 2005-2006 seems to be over - for students only, not for Daddy - he is still working hard - oh, God, show mercy!
May all the glory and praises and thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen! -Jess
