Jessica's Cricket Import from Adi Farms

Jessica brought back this cricket from DaLun Yiyi's http://www.adifarms.com/ yesterday and she finally agreed to release the cricket into our backyard after the cricket survived a sleep-over with a bufferfly - the bufferfly apparently became its dinner overnight. -yong

Central Park, New York City

This is the place Mom and Dad always want to have a visit and here we are! Daddy is suggesting boating in the lake but Mommy says NO! The water is less perfect and Mommy is thinking of bringing Jess to the Children's Zoo at the other side of the park. It is really nice to see the blue sky, and some many kids on the big big lawn singing and dancing, and all the New York doggies that Jess has met on her way to HuiFang Yiyi's home.

"Hey Daddy, are we now going to New York City?" Jess asks on the way.
"Yes, of cause, look New York is on the other side of the river. What does New York have to offer, Jess?" Daddy asks.
"Gou-Gou!" Jess answers for sure.

Big and Little

Jess is told to make different poses to get a picture taken with Nicole and she really works hard trying to get the job done. And when it comes to Daddy's part of the job, after screening the limited shots, he decides that this one is the best, in which Nicole smiles and looks at this "Big" si-ster, if not mon-ster. It is hard to think of a better description for this image but the photo itself says it all - age makes such a difference. Maybe Jess should not more take herself as the "Baby" at home since she is apparently Big sister here at Nicole's home. Nicole has been amazingly interactive with Jessica and for a less-two-month old, that is impressive. And both Daddy and Mommy's memories are refreshed with the days when Jess was also that small. Praise God that we have walked through the years so smoothly - He is with us, Daddy thinks. And may He be with all of our loved ones, Amen! -Jess

Nicole gets all then attentions!

Jessica is trying to touch Nicole's little hands while her mom and grandma, and dad all remind her to be gentle. "Be gentle, Jess!" She is told. And she gets that, getting Nicole's hands carefully. She is wild about babies, taking care of all the baby dolls at home and now she really wants to put all the practice into real action.

A visit to little Nicole Yang at NYC

A visit to Nicole has proved very exciting, to any of the family members. Daddy was very satisfied about the first drive to NYC by himself - he felt somewhat like a conqueror, if the Lincoln Tunnel is easier to get in, the driving experience would have been perfect. And Mummy was happy to find a Buger King at 68th St and Amerstedam Ave - we all get refueled at a place that we are familiar with - Mummy could have suggested something different and more signiture of NYC but she just decided to save on the meal. To be continued.

Grandma and Grandpa's Veggie Garden

Grandma and Grandpa are working hard on their veggie garden after a visit to the King Buffet in Plymouth Meeting - they like the restaurant a lot and that is good.

It is nice to see they working together like this, that gives a good sense of loving couples, and hense loving family, praise God for that.

"Grandpa, Grandpa! Don't dig that way, please! I have something hidden there!" Jessica cried. And we know it is a little secret that grandma would not tell - a good one for the veggies ;p)))

It is a lazy Saturday during the memorial day long weekend - summer is at the corner and we are all excited about the cell group's coming trip to Long Beach Island - wow, beach house and all these wonderful Shushu AYi...... That has to be really exciting!

Easter 2006

Would need the ones of last year to make it a good story. Cynthia is a long-time friend by now, so is David. Rachael is hiding behind the basketball net with her expecting mommy - and Laolao is watching by. Mommy's pick of the messy patio as the background gives Daddy a hard time, but somwhat it works out this way. Happy Easter, -Jess

Happy Mother's Day

This has turned out to be an atypical Sunday, our Lord's Sunday is full of praises for mothers, and sadness of various events. First of all, when we arrived at the church parking lot we saw Huiming Shushu and Yanglin Yiyi was talking to a police sheriff - their Hundai sedan was hit from the back when they was slowing moving to the exit of 8th street - the crazy "run for cure" has resulted in police restrictions of many many intersections, including the one we ususally use for coming to the church, the 15th st. exit of Route 676. That was really bad, knowing that Mom had been late for 40 minutes for her Sunday school duty last week because of similiar traffic restrictions - and this time, before getting to the church, we was stopped at the 30th st station entrance to 676 and had to spent the next 30 minutes on Chestnut st (from 30 to 13). Daddy is an awesome driver since he was able to get around around 13th st when he unexpected met a "NO turns" sign when he was supposed to turn left onth 13th. He ran into an ally that Mom reminded me of many trash bins on the curve - but how does that matter, Daddy was able to get onto 13th st north, that made our delay to a minimum 10 minutes.

Huiming Shushu is going to be fine with the hit-and-run accident, only minor manage to the rear pumper, not a big deal. But the worse news came when we heard that David Shushu (the wonderful Singspiration Leader of CGC!) was involved in a even worse accident last Friday (that is, two days ago) on the highway and his car was totaled - praise God that his family is all fine - we love Tim and Rachael! They are loving sister and brother and they are gentle to our little Jess. We know David was layed off earlier and now only work temporarily at Fox Chase, may our Lord strengthen their family at this hard time. Dear Lord, could you please send them a new car, an used one will do, please!

The special Kid's program later in the afternoon had been awesome, only if Mommy not to urge Daddy to leave before the concert was over - Daddy was waiting for the most "professional" players and singers to come to the stage. But we got to go, Mommy said - she missed her prelim writing - that I know, but how could Daddy miss the best part of the concert and Jess miss the arts work that she was doing with Aunt Zehua? - praise God that we saw Aunty Zehua at the church again today - after such a long time. And you know what, it seems that our Lord has listened to our prayers earlier - she is back - although I guess still not on a regular basis.

PengHui Yiyi and LuoYi Shushu stopped by to send grandma some goodies for Happy Mother's Day (Happy Mother's Daddy, Grandma - you are awesome!). And yes Hui Yiyi and LuoYi Shushu are very nice, not only because of the goodies, but also because of their leadership of the cell group - and Hui Yiyi is teaching in the kid's program at the cell group - she is a wonderful kid's teacher!!! Jess loves PengHui Yiyi, Amen!

Mother's Day became even better with all the goodies, but it didn't stay that way when we were told that Uncle Kacey's wife, the one we were so familiar with in the church but just don't know of her name, was very sick - with a cancer that needs Chemotheraphy! Or, how said that is! Kacey's younger son Diandian is Mommy's sunday school program student and he has been doing a good job, lovely boy!!! And Kacey has also been a very wonderful song leader in the church! God, please show mercy - why all these loved ones are suffering so much from the lives on earth? We all know that you allow everything to happy with your own good will - we are praying for your mercy and grace - may your will be done, my Lord, sthengthen all of us when you put us into difficulty!

Daddy seems to have a long way to study First Peter Chapter 3. It is a pity that Mom missed the sermon becaue of her class duty today, but I know there are lessons that Daddy and Mommy need to learn from our Lord's words - how to build up a Christian family that is pleasing to God.

Good luck Mommy with your prelim paper due tomorrow, when the graduates are stepping into Franklin Field for their commensements - congrats! The academic year 2005-2006 seems to be over - for students only, not for Daddy - he is still working hard - oh, God, show mercy!

May all the glory and praises and thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen! -Jess

That Thanksgiving Preview

Our home had been cozy by the time that we were about to set up some Thanksgiving lights and the fire place. And it was a busy night since Jess had Cynthia (Meimei) and David visiting and playing together. Michael Shushu was busy making playdooh piza as you could see his hands on the table. The doughs Cynthia and Jess were cheering with were apparently inedible. Xiaohui Yiyi was busying on her computer about, I guess, the upcoming Sunday Sales, and Mom was happily watching by. 23/Nov/2005. -Jess

The summer when I was potty trained

I had a aunty called Zehua who took care of me for less than one month. She was a Christian the time I met her - not knowing how she is doing now - Daddy and Mommy have been talking about her struggle with life and study at Penn.

Aunty Zehua, believe in our Lord Jesus and follow His path and He is to bless you with all you need - beyond what you would have asked Him for.

This is a trip to Linvilla Orchard during that point of time. Jess is busy picking a peach for Mommy, and Mommy is busy doing what? - of cause taking the photo. It is easier for Daddy to hold Jess that way for long then, for now, poop, Jess is almost strong enough to carry Daddy around. Almost big 3, big girl! -Jess

At that Thompson Guy's House

That summer, Mom is working hard in this Thompson Guy's lab, payoff is slim - only a visit to this pool that I don't even like, Mom, good luck to your prelim talk next week - I like Maya much better.

And you know what, Happy Mother's Day! -Jess
